It is a matter of great pleasure that the 72nd Annual National Conference of Indian Psychiatric Society-2020 (ANCIPS-2020) is going to be held at Kolkata, the city of joy. Apart from the members of the society, many international experts are also participating in the conference. It is a good gesture on the part of editor Indian Journal of Psychiatry (IJP) to publish an Abstract Supplementary issue of IJP every year. This year's issue will include the abstract of deliberations presented at the 72nd ANCIPS being held at Kolkata from 22nd to 25th January, 2020 with the theme “Smart Psychiatry in Digital era”.

Any scientific conference is known by the scientific presentations delivered at the conference by its members. A large number of scientific papers are going to be presented and workshops, symposiums are going to be conducted at the conference. Good amount of exchange of thought and discussions among the members will be witnessed at the time of presentation of papers. Publication of the abstract will bring out the credibility of scientific work which has been carried out by the authors and will also measure the scientific strength of the Annual National Conference.

I congratulate all the presenters in the conference as well as editor of IJP for compiling and publishing this abstract supplementary issue of IJP.

I hope that this issue will be well received by the august members of Indian Psychiatric Society.

Long Live IPS !
